Getting Stitches Rudy Francisco Books I received Getting Stitches in the mail yesterday and by the time I had read the third poem I realized I was both being taken back in time to places in my life I hadn't revisited since I was in high school and being brought to new places I had never been before, by the words of his poetry.
Rudy Francisco poems in this collection to me are a mixture of longing, satisfaction, happiness, fear and hope. Like climbing up a hill there is ups and downs but you never quit moving and you never regret making it to the top.
I would definitely recommend Getting Stitches to anyone who loves poetry or is thinking of beginning to read poetry because it is easily understood and honest in the delivery, you not only read it, you feel it happening as you read it. So basically I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading in general. I believe with my whole heart you won't be disappointed from the first page to the last page.
